1. in one year I want to feel better about my current job and be more confident. In order for that to happen, I will probably want to be better organized with my course materials, both externally and internally. They need to be more consciously planned, and physically I need to come up with better systems, both in hard copy form and on the computer.

Also for that to happen, I will probably want to establish more regular peer assessments. More on that later.

Ultimately I also want to do a better job in the classroom. Perhaps some training in public speaking? Toastmasters? Something else similar?

2. In a year I want to have an article submitted to a peer-reviewed journal. And I want to have my bibliography at least begun online. What needs to happen for these?

3. In a year I want to have some summer fellowships lined up. In order for that to happen I have to apply for them, and I need to start thinking about that in the fall.

4. In a year I want to have some concerts with Tom lined up for the next academic year and maybe for the summer 09. I need to think about this more.

5. In a year I want to be called for some gigs and have one or two students. Need to think about this more too.
