Help my son overcome his stuttering (read all 10 entries…)
4 sessions of therapy so far 20 months ago

Son loves his speech therapist Miss T. He enjoys going and hopefully she will get a breakthrough for him. It turns out his stuttering has subsuded since our trip. However, Miss T. says he has a speech fluency problem which is another issue.

::sigh:: I am most confident this is working for him.

Yay for Miss T!

Just as an encouraging side note, my former division chair, who is an absolutely brilliant and wonderful person, had a stuttering problem as a child. As an adult, it surfaced just occasionally. But he taught classes every day, spoke to groups in the community, held national office in a well-known service group, and is one of the most charming and persuasive people I have ever known.

I know you have seen all the lists of “famous people who stuttered,” but this is just my person list of one!

Thank you for the encouragement

My son is doing much better. He will be approved for services through the summer which is excellent. Miss T has the utmost faith by the time September rolls around he will be most improved.

Segsy has gotten 9 cheers on this entry.
