a gorgeous day is all it takes.
Last year I just wandered around Washington Square Park and the NYU campus.
By myself.
This year, I had asked for the day off, but my skank nurse manager scheduled me to work!!
I told her about it, and she looked on the request book, but got mad at me that She missed it.
She hasn’t found anyone to take the shift for me, so she said she’s going to work it herself.
Nights.
She’s doing 6 12 hour shifts in a row.
She’s going to kill me.
But when I think that last year I was wandering around New York, by myself, I feel no sorrow about it.
It’s me day.
Glad you had some “me time” too.
You deserve it!
