Loss

A friend commented to me recently that I seemed really affected by Heath Ledger’s death. I didn’t know him. I never met him. My friend didn’t seem to think that I should be affected by his death.

Personally I am affected by all deaths that come too soon, for whatever reason. People shouldn’t die in their 20s or 30s. This isn’t the Middle Ages, nor are they middle aged.

My condolences to you, my friend. Know that even though I did not know Michelle, I am saddened by her transition.

tknight is t'done t'day

I missed this....

I echo Todd here.

Death often comes painfully quickly…

A dear friend of mine I had known for over 34 years lost her fight three months after diagnosis.

It still hurts.

And it always will.

My tears join yours Lord Greg…

May Michelle and Gloria meet in the afterlife.

ScorpioNerve is writing a paper this weekend. and enjoying working again. Keep all 43 fingers crossed for her!

Echo -

I echo Todd and tknight too – I lost my best friend to cancer when she was only 34. I was pregnant with my first son. She didn’t make my wedding and never met my children, either. She fought nonHodgkin lymphoma for 2 years bravely.

Losing someone hurts forever. I am very sorry for your loss, Lord Greg.
