be a better teacher

Tired of teaching, and it's only my first year!  — 3 months ago

I moved to the south for a teaching job. Kids are rude, lazy, unmotivated, and taught to test. It’s so not me! I feel like a flame trying to burn but I’m constantly being dumped with water. I want to be more organized, I want more time, I need more patience, and I need summer to be here now:)

We need more teachers that feel like that(not burnt out, but with the desire to truly teach people) out there.

your frustration. I’m also so tired of kids that are lazy, rude, unmotivated, and taught to test. Something has to change, even if it’s only the time of year. I am reaching some of them, but unfortunately not all of them. I also want more time, patience, and summer. We have five more days of school. I hope the end is near for you. Bless you and may God grant you a wonderful, peaceful relaxing summer.
