Anyway, back to the topic at hand, I suppose it would be real gauche of me to cheer this entry but then not do it myself…
I am tempted not to do this as a type of protest to the changes, but I suppose protests end up hurting unintended victims.

our recent activity on our page, they don’t have any reason to put the permanent link back. Hmmmm. I’d rather see a permanent link in a consistent spot. I keep clicking through to people’s cheers.

the “Recent Activity” option, there’s an advantage: you don’t have to be subscribed to someone to access their recent comments as well as entries.

I would always get perplexed when I’d go to the bottom of someone’s page and that link was missing, and then I’d realized I’d have to subscribe.
Now we have the best of both worlds! :)
