get those weird refunds I've been procrastinating on (read all 7 entries…)
I have two! 20 months ago

I need to look into two things… One, I paid my state taxes twice and two, I got charged twice for something related to my future mortgage. It’d be nice if that money showed up on its own, but I have a feeling I need to ask for it back…

Double Dipping

Hey, I paid my state tax twice too this year. I had telefiled but then discovered I’d left off some taxable income, so I efiled the corrected version. If the state doesn’t refund me on their own, I’ll just apply it to my taxes for next year.
