Well, I’ve been doing a modified coconut diet, and I have been eating a lot, but it’s been healthy big meals, and I weighed myself today (which I wasn’t going to do), and it says I’ve lost 8 pounds. I’m sure some of that must be water weight, but still… pretty good. I have exercised everyday, so I’m sure that’s a factor too. The thing about this diet, though, is that I’ve been less hungry. Okay, it’s still early. But I really will try to stick with it.

breakfast
1 tblspoon virgin coconut oil (20 min. before)
cod liver oil (20 min. before)
banana
eggs, herb sauce, toast/butter
tea

lunch
1 tblspoon coconut oil (20 min. before)
romaine w/walnuts and oil/vinegar dressing
leftover green curry chicken from last night
4 strawberries
spritzer

dinner
1 tblspoon coconut oil (20 min. before)
brussel sprouts steamed with butter
pork chop, cooked w/rosemary, olive oil, soy sauce
ginger ice cream w/coconute sprinkles and 4 strawberries

figure I’ll write down the meals so i can repeat them in a week.

here’s to sticking with this.

oh yuck, you eat the oil by itself? couldnt you just cook things in it?

yup

yes, it’s pretty yucky, but no they say you need to eat it 20 min before you eat. i read about it online and it’s supposed to help with thyroid and increase your metabolism. what i do is mix the oil with coconut flakes, and then i can handle it. apparently coconut oil also has other benefits. who knew?

heehee :) oh my mum is obsessed with it. she cooks everything in it.
and oh okay, with coconut it would taste alright.
