Jared Matthew Sewell is learning new things and loving life...

study everyday, 4h a day on weekdays and 2h a day on weekends (read all 8 entries…)
Studying so many things these days...

I am currently studying brain tanning, flint knapping, archeology, tsalagi (Cherokee language), wood carving, irrigation technologies, botany, photography, mathematics, mechanics, hydraulics, computer science, and krav maga… While many of these parallel each other, some are worlds apart. On the positive side, it provides plenty of amusement for each side of my brain…

Comments:

rovingjack is putting too much on his plate.

To you I say

Glory onto the polymath.

I’m there with you man. I don’t both with a structured learning schedual, as I view every oportunity that life tosses at me as a learning experiance, and that I can learn anything I set my mind to in as much or little time as I give myself on any given day. I usually have all my free time devoted to my hobby of gathering datum.

But of late I have also included a new mode to this, the create. Now new stuf comes in and goes out. I’m writing, painting, doing stained glass… and just exploding all out.

idkbrblol is worrying about this Olympic's "XXX" (third, historically) attack

really cool mix!

I would really like to find out more about “clay singing” (Don’t even try to “web-search” – all you’re gonna get is American Idol references.)
And in your lines of study, you may run into it some day.
I ran into a simple description in a Viktor Schauberger book. Sounds very useful in water conservation.

P.S. Your “not think of suicide” entry was very nice; inspiring. http://www.43things.com/entries/view/2861902
