I think I swear way too much for a mom. I try not to around my son, but when I do swear in front of him, it’s usually because I am frustrated with him. This also has to do with my lack of patience, which I am trying to work on. I my swearing is definately associated with that.

when you become conscious of what you’re saying – especially to children – that’s a bigger step than it seems and it puts you on the right path. i’ve never sworn at my children, but i swear around them – just as bad. now that i have a toddler again, i feel more aware of what comes out of my mouth, and gradually, i’ve been able to control it.
