whats a mean green?

just curious as to what a mean green is? does it help?

also yay for you!!!!!!!!!

Hi!
Well, a mean can can have some or all of the following:
carrots
red cabbage
citrus fruit
kale
parsley
broccoli
swiss chard
green cabbage
garden grass
frozen berries
buttermilk
orange juice

put it in a blender on high for a very long time, until it liquefies. You will not appreciate its value unless you understand and subscribe to the value of raw foods. Or you can try it for 10 days and see what happens to your hair, skin, eyes, digestive system, cholesterol levels, energy level and disposition.

Please email if you need clarification.

that sounds awesome

i do make a lot of juices for myself so sounds like something i would do!!! lol

good luck and thanks!!!

Hi Kiara,
Thanks for not thinking I’m a weirdo. Have you tried using a blender instead of a juicer? It’s easier and faster, and you get all of the nutrients and fiber of the whole vegetable/fruit. I grow a lot of veggies so it’s all organic, but if no one’s spraying regular old grass is great. It has a really good, mildly sweet flavor, but it is super fiborous so you only want a little. This is what I do to totally break down the veggies till they’re liquified. I add a little at a time and once the blender’s near full I add frozen fruit. The hardness of the frozen fruit really helps to break down the tough fibers in the grass, etc. Also, you may want to see Shazzie on Youtube. She has a great clip showing how she harvests “weeds” from her backyard for eating. She’s one of the many raw food gurus. You have to be careful with some of the raw foodists because some of their ideas in my opinion, are harmful.
Anyway, I’m from Northern California. Where are you from?

wheat grass?

hey ya, i haven’t got a blender but might have to get one i think, i do grow wheat grass to juice and we have a dandylion that grows wild here that i also use in my juices, blended would be nice to though, there is two kinds of dandy lion plant and its by the flowers that you tell which is the one you eat, not sure if you get them there? but they are very very good for you and are a weed here, so can get heaps!!! i eat lots of raw foods and was even cookin rice just by soakin it in water and place in in the sun, high heats really do take alot of the goodness out of all our foods, hope the diet is going well!

I’m from sunshine coast in QLD in australia

great going!

i am on day 5 of my new meal plan as well. already had some struggles, but i’m still dedicated. you’re doing great. good luck!
