aborealis773 is almost at the end of her journey
The look of my front yard embarrasses me. It looks wild and crazy in a neighborhood of manicured lawns. I’m trying to grow drought-tolerant plants in place of a lawn, but in the process, I experiment with plants that don’t necessarily work with the clay soil, and so on. It also doesn’t help that my next-door neighbor religiously mows his lawn and the lawns of those around us two times a week.
In the middle of the night, awake from the tooth pain, I found myself thinking up ideas of immediate things I can do today to make the front yard look better.
Garden List:
1. Start the sprinkler schedule again.
2. Prune spent flowers and overgrowth where needed.
3. Remove pile of dirt from the center.
4. Remove dead weeds and fill in transplanted holes.
Rest of Things to Do:
5. Vaccuum.
6. Work on class writing projects.
7. Goes without saying—rest periodically.
