lose weight (read all 395 entries…)

It’s a perfect morning to go on a bike ride!
I prefer exercising in the morning, that way it’s done, dusted, and I just feel better for it.

Which is what I like about bank holidays and other holidays, I get to exercise whenever I like.

I think I definatly look slimmer when I look in the mirror. It’s hard to tell though because I see myself everyday. (Can’t escape that, mirrored tiles in the bathroom)

Also, at the moment I’m exercising 5-6 times a week.
When I’ve lost this weight, I know I’ll have to keep exercising, but how much to maintain weight my weight loss?

hey lostdusk. i don’t know if you would remember me but i used to post here as dreamofthin. well, anyway i left for a while and sorta put dieting on the back burner. but i’m ready to get back in the saddle and before i do any posting, i wanted to first find you and thank you. it’s largely because of your advice that i stopped the starve/binge cycle and decided to diet the right way. the two and a half months that i stopped dieting put some pounds on me, but i’m not upset about it. after years of deprivation and self hatred, i needed a break from obsessing about it. i’m now doing a diet of between 1300 and 1500 calories and i’m slowly losing the weight. i’m happy and feel that this is something i can do the rest of my life and i’m confident i will eventually reach my weight goal. again, thankyou – your advice really impacted my life in a very positive way!

lostdusk has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
