Seeing a friend’s hand made stitch markers gave me just the push I needed to go ahead and make my own. They look so nice in my knitting. I made one with a charm at the bottom and eight largish jump rings chained together with very small jump rings. I’m using it for the Irish Hiking scarf. I count my rows by slipping the next large jump ring down onto my needle each time I get to it. When I get to the last one I know it’s time to cable.
I think I’m going to have to make one of those row counters. I haven’t made one of the Irish Hiking Scarves yet, but it’s in my Ravelry queue. I need to get busy on my stitch markers. I’d like to make some for my sister.
