I weighed in yesterday. Just 2 lbs lost. Nothing exciting. Maybe I’ll have better results next week.

I’ve heard it a million times that healthy weight loss is 1-2 lbs per week but it sounds utterly ridiculous to me. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because I had an eating disorder. I don’t know. I just know that I CANNOT get my head around that fact. It sounds like really SLOOOOOOWWWWWW weight loss; like how can you possibly get anywhere with just 2 lbs a week. I prefer 5 lbs a week as good. I can live with 4 and, of course, a few pounds over 5 lost is always wonderful. And, yeah, yeah, I know about the whole muscle loss and how it’s not good and I understand that but 2 MEASLEY POUNDS???? Maybe one day I’ll get it.
That’s a good, steady loss. You shouldn’t feel bad at all. Maybe if it feels like too little don’t look at this week’s loss, but you’re overall loss so far.
