i am a romantic at heart and think that its a great gesture to get someone you like flowers. however you must be subtle with this and wait till at least the second date or you will appear to be either coming on too strong or just going through the motions.

also dont get roses unless its valentines or there is a special occasion like valentines. roses are overused and tacky in most situations.

if all else fails and you dont trust yourself just ask the florist. tell them you are getting a really pretty lady flowers and give some details about where things are at. they will be able to help.
