Daily: Reflect on at least 5 things for which I'm grateful (Happiness Manifesto #2) (read all 807 entries…)
I am so grateful, today.... 14 months ago

1. Tony will be in Bakersfield today, just a few hours to go.

2. I don’t have a show tonight so I can play! (I think we are going to go feed the ducks, actually, at Hart Park.)

3. I am picking up my contact lenses today! YAY!

4. The quiet time on my lawn last night, photographing.

5. Conversation with Katherine

6. Slow-and-steady decluttering. I am seeing progress, consistently. It is GOOD! Not like a binging decluttering, but more of a solid-way-of-life decluttering.

7. The poetry anthology I bought at the book sale

8. Sara Teasdale

9. Richard Wagner

10. My morning pages notebooks, all rich in story telling.

11. My front porch desk… (a $10 yard sale acquisition six years ago which was a great investment!)

12. Gel pens

Tony?

Who’s Tony?

He is

the newish man in my life. (Been four weeks now.)

~ John Lee ~ time to get busy on the new and fulfilling goal

weird science ?

“newish man” – sounds like you created him like those kids in Weird Science (oh, the 80’s, when science held so many possibilities!)

:-)

I was meaning in terms of time.

Four weeks is new… but not like last night new… so… newish. LOL

.. oh ..

.. then nevermind ..

Tink is pleased with her progress.

Funny...

...he doesn’t look newish.

He is 36. More newish than me by ten years.

Tink is pleased with her progress.

My mother was 11 years older...

...than my stepfather, and they were together for 21 years, until her untimely death at 62.

Tony the Railroadman

?

Yes

Tony is Railroadman.

I have documented some of our growing relationship here.

There are even some photos.

Mmmmmm

I love all of these. Morning pages (and the pic!), gel pens, front porch desk, poetry anthology and… the man! :) Your rich, lovely life.

Thank you, dear Pony

I am grateful.

A combined cheer....

....on your solid-way-of-life decluttering and your second hand desk. Keeping only the stuff you love and giving/selling/getting rid of the rest is not only a GREAT feeling, but it also gives your cast off stuff a chance to shine in someone else’s home….much like your $10 desk! I love the idea of having a designated place to sit and work outside!!

I also love the wide open feel I am starting to get around here… long overdue!

And when this stuff is gone from my space, I can do more of the serious decorating I have been longing to do for such a long time.

gypsiewriter thinks life is beautiful and appreciates the cheer-bombs as of late! :)

I really like your handwriting!
