This is one of these things I’ve always wanted to do but it has taken a backseat for whatever reason. I don’t want to be super sewer and make all my own clothes, but I would like to be able to do some home decoration (cushion covers, curtains etc.), make some simple clothes, bags, and be able to do some easy alterations and customisations. Ideally I’d like to take some sewing lessons, but I can’t afford it right now, so I figure the next time I see my Mom (not for several months) I’ll get her to show me some stuff. Perhaps I can get hold of a second hand machine. At the moment though, all I’m really doing is drooling over fabric and coming up with some ideas. Must remember not to spend too much money on fabric!
