Some days as humans, we can get so down on ourselves and forget how fortunate we are to be living freely and healthy.
I believe the heart of humankind needs to be refresh with compassion and tenderness for our fellow kind.
My days are filled with aiding the less fortunate teens who suffer with criminal behaviors, parental abuse or neglect (worse, both), teen motherhood, drug/alcohol abuse, mental illness (from the clinical depressed to the schizophrenia), sexual perpretators, and other mixed issues of being a young adult in an unfeeling and unsympathic world of money and power.
And in doing so, I gain a respect for these students who, no matter what their trials, struggle to become healthy adults.
So, tell one another and others, no one is worthless or disposable.
Be a little cracked and be a good egg.
Be a good egg.
