become a chiropractor (read all 2 entries…)
Orientation 19 months ago

Tomorrow is my first day as a student at Logan college. We have orientation from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The notion to become a chiropractor has been in my head since 1996 and after initially looking into it this year I thought it might take me until the first part of 2010 before I’d be ready to start – kind of missed that target (but in a good way)
I think I’ll be putting in my final notice at work after the orientation. I gave a clear heads up to my boss on the first of this month and he was decent enough to work with me so I could take attend the class and still work a few extra weeks but, I think the end of this month will probably do it for my networking career.

Like Sinatra said, “The best is yet to come” :)

Good luck...

I am sure you are too emboiled in classes to pay attention to 43 things.

Good luck I’ve been a chiropractor for 18 years still love it.

Thank You! :)

Thank you very much for your comments and insight. I only have two days left at my job then I’ll be fully committed to becoming a chiropractor. I’m in an accelerated science program right now and will be finishing up 4 chemistry classes, three labs and a biology class by the end of December and was accepted earlier this month into the doctorate program beginning in January of 2009.

Ending work will help alot in terms of studying and homework – I was up until 2:30 a.m. this morning completing todays assignment and had to be up at 5 a.m. for work! Small price to pay, I think. So far, I’ve gotten A’s on all the assignments. We’ve got our first test next week and I’d really like to make the Deans List for this Trimester …hey …maybe I should add that as one of my 43 things! :)
