I completed this task a little over two months ago. Life feels surreal. I have a husband. I am a wife. My brain still has trouble comprehending this reality.

Boyfriend and girlfriend, I understand that relationship.

But husband and wife, it is still so new, so strange.

Others have told me this is a perfectly normal feeling. Some friends who have been married for over a decade claim that it still blows their mind that they are a husband/wife.
