Hellfire at chef’s stove
What was that thing that he made-
Hen in a pumpkin?

Comments:

yup!

Shoulda poached some eggs in it too! The circle of life! (Or which came first, why did the pumpkin cross the road or the chick-o-lantern?)

OUTSTANDING HAIKU HHB!!!! Social relevance always brings a tear to….well, never mind…

It’s inspired me to start inserting all kinds of things into other things and applying heat! OR cold!(No, um, sexual innuendo intended of course.)

Speaking of….when you inserted yourself into NM (per your AD.com aka HHB.org)...is that the I-25 crossing between EP and LC? I recognize, I think, the lack of terrain there. (Yes, those are my people nearby breeding enchilada platters, with gusto, in the village I am from!)

I am baking a combination platter in a duck tonite. Loser girl would join me, I think, if I left the conversation to the condiments and kept the inunednos outthewindows (“defenestration” didn’t rhyme). I’m sure there would be much inciteful (pun intended of course) chit-chat because ketchup might have a lot to say about a desert of nacho cheese-stuffed ice cream.

I’ll have squash and chicken in my coffee to finish it off! Thanks for brightening my day! I’ll put my emotion meter up to five!

NM vs TOC vs Mats Sundin

Actually I am surprised you could see anything beyond the vast terrain of the time period known as Mom Jeans,
but I digress.
I think of a stellar meringue pie in Tucumcari; an even better chiles rellenos. A sign outside a secondhand shop spelling DOOFNAC XEMI. And no terrain, as far as the pie could take me.

I too had the pleasure of duck, not stuffed into anything but a steamy bowl of ramen and marinated tofu with one of the most profound broths I’ve had in a long time. Ah!
No condiments, please. The Ketchup has had its say, and as we all know, it’s a hard condiment to avoid. You know you’ll run into him sooner or later in the day.

Ahh Tucumcari!

I played in a district band there in high school! I wonder why anyone would be there except in passing through. Why were you there? This is something I would like to know though it appears to require past life regression (which is how I got to speak of Tucumcari). I remember playing a Copeland piece, Appalachain Spring, in the band there. I love Copeland.

That reminds me of

a high school teacher who asked me why anyone would want to visit Winnipeg unless they were passing through.
In the case of Tucumcari, yes, that’s what was happening. The idea was to fly from Toronto to Kansas and drive along Route 66.
Sounds unbearably cool. I wore a lot of black in those days. Come to think of it, I still do. Talk about life regression.

You were playing Copland in high school? Incroyable! But maybe I’m thinking of Ives. I always get these two mixed up- like Chip & Dale vs Mac and Tosh.
