I have enquired about volunteering with deaf people... 7 months ago

I have recently learned some sign language, and am improving my vocabulary each day. I would therefore like to volunteer helping deaf people.

I have just emailed my local deaf support network to ask if I could assist them in any way.

I will let you know how it goes, exciting times :o)

Yes, it’s an ongoing task really learning a language of any sort, even our mother tongue. But it opens up the possibility of communicating with people from different cultures.

I love your username and profile picture by the way. Really cute picture of a chimp hehe :o)
