(Day 5—> Starting AGAIN, but this time I’m not 172lbs !!)
I made it to the park again with my pups today. It was about 45 minutes of walking. I’m getting more consistent! Gotta keep it up! I’ve only eaten out once this week, and that’s because my fiance had it preplanned. My best friend joined a gym today and now has a personal trainer. I can’t afford to join a gym or get a personal trainer (even if it comes with the membership). She’s a beautiful girl, and it’s not that I don’t want her to look and feel good (and please don’t take this wrong), but I want to look better. I want to feel confident around her, not insecure, esp. if she’s going to be my maid of honor in my wedding. I don’t ever remember a maid of honor outshining the bride, but sometimes I can be very insecure. I’m looking at her joining the gym as my little extra push and motivation. While she loses weight, I’m going to as well. In addition, I’m going to work on getting myself a cute little stomach and a cute well defined body so that I look darned good in a wedding dress and a bathing suit!! GW here we come!!!

Keep up your hard work everyone!! It’s so nice to see so much progress being made!!

I kind of know how you feel. My 4 sisters were my bridesmaids, and they are all slim and gorgeous. I was so worried they were going to outshine me on the day. It was good motivation to lose weight, even though it was such a vain thing to be thinking!

When it came down to it though, on the day I was still a little bit overweight and they were still trim, taut and terrific. I was comparing myself with them right up to the wedding day. BUT on the day something amazing happened. I looked damn hot. I mean, so did they, but they couldn’t outshine me if they tried. People noticed their dresses and how nice they looked, but even that was usually in relation to how the whole wedding party looked good and how lovely it all was. Trust me, whatever your fears and insecurities are, on the day they will just vanish and you will feel like the most beautiful, sexy, amazing person there, and proud to have your friend right by you supporting you.

Aww thank you so much! Anytime you have ever given me advice, it has always been so positive and uplifting. I always end up with a smile after reading your comments! Sincerely, THANK YOU! I don’t know how long ago you got married, but CONGRATULATIONS! :) I really can’t wait! I have a while yet, because we decided to postpone it until we finally finish grad school! Of course that means pharmacy school will have taken us for EVERYTHING we are worth, and by then we’ll probably have to wait even longer to pay for ANYTHING! HA! We’ll get married someday!! Thanks again for everything!!

Sorry about the late reply. It will be 11 weeks on Sunday. Seriously, don’t worry, it will be awesome. And don’t worry about the money. When you guys are ready to get married, do it, you will come up with the money. It’s like a kitchen never being big enough, you’ll never have enough money. And the more you have, the more you’ll want to spend on this one day.
