Next step: find interesting places to eat for the CA trip
I’ve got a subscription to http://www.zagat.com/ and the latest copy of Jane & Michael Stern’s Roadfood. I’d like to make a list of potential culinary adventure spots for each of the three major stops I’m making this trip.
Even if I only get to try one or two – I mean, after all, I AM working and thus subject to schedule disasters – it’d still be worth it. The biggest challenge I find when traveling on business is that I don’t have often time to find someplace neat to eat – and relying on local recommendations usually gets some pretty mediocre results.
If I make a list of possibilities in advance, I stand a better chance of getting to go even when time-boxed.
