I am finding this goal one of the hardest things to do!! and i found out why. i have an overeating disorder! i didn’t completely realize it but i knew my eating habits weren’t right. i generally eat healthy, but i eat way too much. if i wasn’t as active as a am, i would be obese (SCAREY!!). i think i will go in for behavioral therapy. 80% of the time it is supposed to work for overeaters, so here i go…

I have that too!!!
Hey, you sound like me. I love healthy food, but I eat like a lumberjack. I used to be a runner so it wasn’t a problem, but I’ve had knee surgery and it has put a permanent end to my running, so I’ve packed on the pounds. I’ve been on portion control for about a month now and have lost ten pounds. It’s really hard to stop eating when you’re not really full. Thankfully I like healthy food and don’t have a problem steering clear of junk. Before my portion control I would eat like 3 plates of pasta or 7 tortillas and cheese. Way more than my 6’4” husband. I try to psych myself out by telling myself I’m a model or dancer and can’t eat big portions HA! Doesn’t always work. Please let me know how your therapy goes if you do it.
