I just love this idea, ‘Kudos’ to you-Geogal!
I live near a small town that plants wildflowers in the mediums. It is so pretty, however, they mow them down befor they have a chance to re-seed.
But, Please, do not plant clover! Deer love them, and will often get hit trying to get to them.
I am going to start with poppy seeds, which you can put out this time of year {Oct/Nov}.
