Vomit 19 months ago

Hannalee awoke at 12:30 am puking. It took about 4 hrs to get everything cleaned up and 2 loads of laundry done & dried, bed remade, the carpet & rugs steam vac’d, floors cleaned, and of course, her cleaned up.

She fell back asleep while I was cleaning up stuff. Thought maybe there might be another bout as she said her tummy still hurt.

I woke her around 4:30 am to have her come sleep with me, but putting her on the floor with a comforter and a different blanket, ensuring that if she threw up again, it would be easier to cleanup the mess.

As we were walking to my room, she threw up again. This time I had anticipated that and she had a big tupperware thing to throw up into.

But, she also ended up having big time diarrhea. She says her tummy feels better.

Anyway, we’re done with parties today. She has 3 more parties later in the week and I’m going to limit what she consumes, as this is not fun to go through.

Please pray that Sean would not get sick. Please pray that this is it for Hannalee and that anything upsetting her system is done by now with 2 vomits and 1 diarrhea.

Thanks!

I hope and pray...

...that Hannalee is over the worst of it, and that Sean will be OK too.

Your post brings back memories of my mother cleaning up after me when I got sick in the middle of the night.

Thank You

I appreciate it, Isabella.

Hannalee’s hungry now, but I’m real leery. I don’t have any 7-Up, but I do have saltines & a banana, so that’s what she’ll eat.

Sean wants eggs and seems totally fine, even a little obnoxious right now.

Earlier I layed hands on Hannalee after the 2nd bout. There was a coolness that ran through my arms & hands and it seemed almost immediately her body temperature changed.

During Sunday service, I got a dose of Impartation at church. Nothing seemed to happen to me, but maybe something did and this was a delayed reaction. Dunno, but it was really interesting and miraculous to me.

Thanks for the response...

...and glad that things seem hopeful. God does surely work in ways that are interesting and miraculous.

My mother always gave me ginger ale and “toast soldiers” (strips of toast) when I was sick. The toast soldiers were OK, but I didn’t like ginger ale. (I think I came to associate it with feeling sick.) I would have preferred 7-Up, saltines, and a banana. :)
