Some friends brought their 18 month old over and she knocked it over, shattering it into 1000 pieces. THat’ll teach me to leave things within reach of a small child. God, I hate myself for that.
THis year, if I get a bonus, I’m going to buy a Martin Parr print. I’m very much looking forward to it. Fingers crossed we make our targets.

about a nice piece of “real” art. I have only 2- one sculpture given to me by my namesake, (by an artist whom at the moment I forget, I always have to look it up.)
And the other is a very fine piece of tribal stuff from Nigeria that I accidently purchased in the market.
Somehow it makes me feel more sophisticated!
