A Turkeython is where you gather a bunch of friends and spend the evenings watching the mosy laughably bad movies you can get your hands on. B-grade monster movies where you can see the zipper on the monster suit, Teen exploitation flicks where the plot is pushed aside for boobies or model-boy pecs, no-budget crapfests by directors who were (mercifully) never heard from again, if a film is so bad it’s actually painful to watch, it’s prime fodder for a Turkeython!
And yet, what is painful to watch alone becomes hilarious to watch with friends who crack jokes and make smart comments all the way through. It’s like your very own real-life MST3K episode.
Oh, and for those of you wanting some suggestions for movie titles to include at your own Turkeythons, just ask, I’m only too happy to share some of the “gems” I’ve found through the years.
