I have never seen so many flowers in one place in my life. Amazing. A lot of them I’d never seen before. The house was very nice too. Especially the dining room (yellow) and the kitchen (blue everything and copper pots.)

The most important thing to know if you’re planning a visit is to go in the off season! Fall or spring, during the week. I made the mistake of going in August and it was like riding the métro at rush hour – just packed.

Don’t forget the visit The American Art Museum which has some wonderful pieces. It’s really close, just a few minutes by foot.
