In accordance with my other goal of “convert to metric” I have discovered how to switch my digital scale over to kg, so now I will be measuring my weight in kg instead of lbs. Goodbye stupid measurement system!
My goal weight is: 59.5 or 60 kg. Not far off now.
I have to admit I haven’t been very focused on this goal lately, it seems like there is always something to give me a good excuse for not exercising or eating nutritious foods. Some of my excuses are really LAME too… “can’t bike to work today, can’t find my biking shorts!” Sigh.
It seems like I’ve tried every motivational trick I can find; promising myself a reward when I get to the goal, keeping a log of my activities on here, focusing on non-weight related goals like being able to do a certain # of situps…nothing is keeping me going. It’s like I only half want to lose the weight or something. Maybe I need to take a moment and really think about what is holding me back. I have an idea but it might sound weird. I’ll give it some thought.

Comments:

Now that you’re metric, we have the same goal weight :)

I think weird and random things can affect our ability and willingness to stick with this. But don’t worry you’ll get your mojo back! (I just did, thank goodness.)
