As long as your old belonging is still in the good condition. If you don’t want to use it anymore, better give it away to charity shop or another people who want it :)

my girlfriend collects a ton of stuffed animals every year. at the end of the year she gives them all away to needy children and whatnot. we have two garbage bags full of them right now.
I couldn’t bring myself to do it, but charity is a great thing. More power to you.
