stop living paycheck to paycheck
Maybe I've already reached this?

I don’t really run out of money between paycheques, technically, since I transfer money to my savings account every cheque… But only about 3%, and I haven’t been doing it that long, so it doesn’t feel like that much of a comfort zone, yet. Ideally, I get some debt paid off and start saving 10% of each cheque. SOON.

you will get there. what about writting down everything you think you need when you get money and think through things twice before buying anything. I find that I tend to by a lot more clothes then I really need..

Yeah… that’s actually a really good idea. The other thing that’s been really helpful is Quicken. Before that, I really didn’t have a handle on what money I’d already spent, or what money I was going to have to spend soon.
