Last year we went to a friend’s house at Lake Chapala. I was really eager to drive on the road for the first time, especially because I can already drive in the beltway, and if you can drive in the beltway of Guadalajara, you can drive anywhere.
Well, I tell you, there’s nothing as hard as driving in a super-narrow two lane road in the middle of the night, with the middle line erased!
Let’s just say I was so scared I was driving at 40 km/h with the emergency lights on, with the headlights at full power, and I was telling my friends “Please, tell me if I’m leaving the road, please!!!”. DDDX
The next time, fortunately, was during the day. It was still a very narrow mountain road, but damn, was it worth it! We stayed at a house in the mountains of southern Jalisco, in the middle of the forest, the weather was cool and pleasantly cloudy, and we had an awesome night with some bottles of Johnny Walker and the most awesome people I’ve ever met. :D
So, I can declare this thing complete!
