Sticker shock 13 months ago

Went to buy eggs and a loaf of bread this morning. The bread I like best was $4.30 a loaf!! I did not buy it, I went with a 2 for $5 brand.

I don’t normally notice small increments of inflation, but this is getting crazy way too fast. Talk about disruption throughout the entire economy. Glad I’m not supporting children right now. All this has got to be hard on families with tight budgets.

I’m so close to selling my car, I hate paying for gas. It’s stress me out! It’s bullshit, I have to drive like ten miles just to get anywhere so walking or riding my bike isn’t really an option in 96degree weather.
I haven’t noticed inflation with food around here thankfully. I think we’re going to get really skinny

At the Target near me, the other day they had half-gallons of organic milk for $1. A DOLLAR! I wanted to call everyone I know! It wasn’t expired or in suspect-looking dented packages. It tasted great. So strange. I can’t even remember the last time I got milk so cheaply. Maybe they did it, just maybe, because they love us. <3

That’s cheaper than I’ve seen in a very long time. I didn’t know Target even sold milk – shows how much I go shopping!
