Move to Tennessee
TENNESSEE 18 months ago

Hi, I am a mother of four children, 3 are teenagers. I have a paralegal degree and have 7 years experience as a paralegal, 3 years of that was being a paralegal supervisor. I know work in a title escrow office. I am wanting to move to Tennessee. I would like a small town but do not want to drive an hour for work. I wouldn’t mind changing professions either. My kids love to camp and fish so I will need some place like that. I will rent for now because I won’t be coming with much money. Can anyone tell me where the best place to “restart” my life would be? Maybe give me a county or a city, town in Tennessee that I could start with…Thanks

I have lived in Tennessee for the past 10 years, and after Colorado it is the prettiest state I have laid eyes on. The best areas to live are probably around the Franklin/Brentwood area, on the south side of Nashville. The schools around there are the best in the state, but because of all the development in the last few years Franklin has lost much of the small town feel that it once had, but the Leiper’s Fork and Fairview areas of Williamson County still have much of their small town charm. If finances are going to be a problem shoot for Spring Hill, just south of Franklin, or possibly Fairview, depending on how “out there” you want to get. Hope this helps!
