I quit  — 2 months ago

smoking yesterday. Again. I was going to post this under finish what I start but since I’m not sure I’m finished and I certainly haven’t been in the past when I’ve quit before, I figured this was more apropos? I feel pretty good this morning and I think I can make it through today too.

Kicking the nicotine habit is a beast. I officially stopped smoking in January, but damn, six months later, it’s still hard. Hopefully things will go better for you.

So far

I’ve been feeling pretty good and it’s been reasonably easy. I’m wearing patches and I haven’t really craved a cigarette yet. Personally, if I wear patches for the rest of my life and it keeps me from smoking, I can live with it. :)

Yeah

but I’ve quit with patches before and with Wellbutrin and with Chantix and went back every time. Sooooo….even though it might have been relatively painless each time it has yet to really stick.
