Two on the go

Right now, at no great speed mind you, I’m reading both Weighing the Soul: Scientific Discovery from the Brilliant to the Bizarre, and Make Compost in 14 Days by Editors of Organic Gardening Magazine.

Both are very interesting. I just wish I could read more than a few words before I fall asleep with the book on my face!

interesting

titles… I may have to check into them at my local library.

I've read more

of the compost book (it’s really more like a pamphlet – I saw it for sale on Amazon.com for a buck or two) and while I haven’t yet tried the technique it prescribes for making quick compost, it’s pretty interesting science behind the process. I’m eager to give it a go (one day :o)

Yes the compost

book really interests me. I bought a composter from the city for under $40 right after we moved into our house. I have no clue how to use the darn thing. To top it off C has no interest in having it in our yard. :o( So I’m stuck with this jewel of an item I cannot even use. I need get some more info to show him how beneficial it will be for us and our plants to have one. You’ll have to post how it works out for you. I’m very interested.

will do!

though I won’t even think about trying this within the next six weeks. I’m hoping maybe in September/Oct I’ll have enough grass clippings saved up, and leaves to rake, to get the pile started. But I’ll for sure let you know how it goes.

sounds like a plan!

Gotta keep those priorities straight :o) School comes first. I’ll look forward to your update.
