Everything has gone smooth. We started with an Ubuntu LiveCD to smooth over the Windows XP to Ubuntu transition. Everything works the same, mostly faster on the same hardware, so the obstacles are fairly minor. Biggest problem was having to buy a third-party printer driver (TurboPrint) to support my Canon Pixma printer. I don’t even miss Windows. Still stuck using Windows at work, but that’s out of my hands…
