I’m doing research on the benefits of a plant based diet. (that sounds really complicated, but my research is mainly limited to google :) What I’ve found is really promising, but I’m definitely too big a fan of white meat and dairy to totally make it. I’m also trying to learn how to cook, or rather “uncook”, my foods in their most natural raw form. The health benefits are rather exciting.
But in all this, I’m realizing how unnatural the typical American diet is. I want to be 60-70% plant based (by plants I mean fruits, veggies, beans and seeds, less grains). It’s hard for me to think in terms of making a meal around fresh foods. I’m so used to pastas and turkey burgers. I need to think outside the box ;) Any suggestions?
