I’m not a cricket fan but got offered the opportunity to go to a Twenty20 match. I don’t believe you can knock something until you’ve actually experienced it. It was hard to make out what was going on and the tannoy announcements were not clear.
I won’t be going again but some of those I went with will.

I’m glad to hear that you went to a cricket match but sad that you didn’t like it. Twenty20 is too frenetic for my liking. Maybe, if you gave a longer form of the game a chance and found a cricket aficionado to gently explain the game to you, you may appreciate it better…
Then again, I’m prepared to acknowledge that cricket isn’t for everyone.

I love cricket but agree that it may not appeal to everybody. I hope you give it another chance when it is explained by someone who knows and understands the game. Baseball and American football remain incomprehensible to me to this day. LOL!
