Pay all my bills on time
Habits habits. 18 months ago

It’s not that I don’t do this, but I need to be more responsible about it. Just one or two late charges add up, and if it’s a utility bill that’s late (and paid for 3-ways in my apt.) it’s me that pays the late fee because I’m the one who writes the checks for the bills. How I was given this lovely responsibility each month in my house I’m not sure, but its just the way it is now so whatever.

Problem is, I have OCD and very specific places where I put bills, paid bills, other important documents, etc, and when they are moved out of those places I tend to forget about them completely! I then find the bill, unpaid, nine days after due and go GODDAMNITTTTT.

Maybe I need to shell out the cash and buy iLife (or steal it from a savvy friend…) so I can have a chart/spreadsheet of what expenses I have and what day they are due each month. When it comes to technology, I tend to buy things as they need replacing so the thought of purchases like software and the like generally makes me cringe out of impending necessity.

I should be used to that by now!

Maybe...

...get yourself a little calander or day-planner instead? That’s what I do. Everything in my entire life goes into the book. It’s worked quite well so far, however, if I were to lose the book, I’d be totally screwed.

I’m going to do exactly that once my discount kicks in at K.S. and I see one I like. They have some super nice ones that are all refillable, I just could never afford one before.

Good idea writing in the bill due dates though, I probably wouldn’t have thought of that before.
