I DO NOT like brown rice. I’ve tried it several times. I’ve mixed it up with other foods. I just don’t like it. So even though white rice isn’t as healthy I’m going back to it. Things is I love rice so I guess I’ll just have to watch portion sizes. I could live on rice and potatoes for the rest of my life. And, of course, something sweet for my wicked sweet tooth.

maybe
there are other whole grains you might like more? Quinoa, farro (probably hard to find), millet?
There are also a range of different kinds of brown rice, not sure which you’ve tried. E.g., jasmine brown rice, basmati brown rice, short grain (Korean/sushi).
I hear you, though. I love it, but I know many people don’t.
I've had brown rice over the......
years from different people and I don’t know what kind they used. However, I buy the instant brown rice because I’ve always had trouble cooking rice. I always bought the instant white but since I wanted to swtich to brown I went for the instant. However, I will keep an eye out for those others you suggested. Thanks.

Rice cookers work wonders! My rice was always too hard in the middle or mushy before I was given a rice cooker and now I look like I can cook. =)
I’m not a huge brown rice fan either but I try to give it character with fresh veggies, herbs or spices depending on what I’m serving it with. Don’t be afraid to be creative! =D
Now there's an idea....
I never thought about getting a rice cooker. Before switching to instant my rice was always mushy. The last time I had brown rice which was a few weeks ago I had it with broccoli and lentils. I mixed it altogether in my plate and I still couldn’t stand it. However, I may give it one last shot and take your suggestions and add different herbs and spices. I love stocking my pantry with all different seasonings. Any particular ones you want to recommend?
