I never had an interest in iceland until a few months ago when I read in the NY times travel section about it. Usually I am not really a fan of this particular section of the newspaper because it usually only describes where to go and everything, and there is never really a satisfactory description of the place…like the beauty of it and all. When I read the article there was this amazing picture of the Blue Lagoon, and I guess ever since then I have been absolutely dying to go. I jump every time someone mentions iceland! I have a huge list of places I have to go, but I think that Iceland could be my number 1 (tied with Paris, no matter how cliche)
*I was just reading some of the entries below and I do find it funny how so many of us are not only interested in visiting Iceland, but are literally OBSESSED.
For those of you who have already gone… did you see any puffins?
