Wild rice is yummy when it is cooked with beef broth & mushrooms. but it takes to darn long to cook. Trader Joes has that pre-cooked stuff in the bag that is nice and handy.

Trader Joe’s had the California Melody. It was a blend of all three, brown, wild and white. I used to get it all the time but I have been using this HUGE Tupperware of Couscous from Smart N Final I filled up a few years ago. It’s all most done. I moved it to a smaller container. You can’t beat the couscous cause after the broth boils it cooks in 5 mins so you can’t beat it!!

I still like white rice with certain thing like rice pudding which I know you don’t seen to care for the texture of. But seeing how you are a gimp these days you better get used it it…and Jell-O too ;)

I was hooked on India Rice Pudding for a while. It has long grain Basmanti rice, rose water & pistachios in it. The Indian place on the corner have a lunch buffet for like $7.95 I have been tempted to go there just for this GIANT bowl of rice pudding they have sitting on ice OMG it’s SO much better than mine. DIY girl only likes their Mango cheesecake.

oh, rice noodle are yummy too…..
