Was Tara’s first cross country at school. It was such a joy to watch. She came second in the girls for her year level! I was so excited and cheering her on that I didn’t get a pic of her crossing the finish line and the only other pic I have is one of other children waiting to start so better not post that out of respect and privacy to those families. I love the community of this school so much. Lots of parents there to cheer their children on. And because the school is so small in numbers it really has a close feel to it. Their approach with having the big kids looking out for the little ones is really evident in events like this. I had a great time chatting to one of the mums. She’s in the public education system here (head of drama at one of the high schools) but had worked at one of the colleges and gave me some great feedback and advice on which college will be good for Molly next year. It’s hard to make decisions when you don’t know many people to ask and of course a lot of Molly’s decision making is dependent on where her friends will be going.
