Hullo_World remember the past, live the moment, prepare for the future
My design supervisor stated that the fonts I used were not readable enough due to its size and style. The image I chose apparently causes some confusion of what my service is about (it appears to look like a business card for food as oppose to illustrations :P). With that in mind, I have to rework on these areas before I produce the print runs.
Business cards should have some form of appeal to them, a voice that reflects what type of service you provide as a professional. Making just “simple” looking business cards (ie: typical white background with typical black type aligned in a “centered” format) makes the cards seem plain and boring. Most successful cards are those that add personality, and they don’t necessarily have to be complex-looking. They can still maintain its simplicity, but have a more “professional” appeal. That’s why I’m taking my time on this, so I don’t end up with a “boring” looking card design.
On to the next stage…
