we are just about the same! my current weight is 118.5 and my ultimate goal weight is 105. but i don’t even know what that will look like, hopefully toned and petite, not scary skinny. when do you want to reach your goal? i’m giving myself a whole year! i started at the end of feb, so now i have 8 months to lose 13 lbs which i think is reasonable. ;D

I am giving myself a few months to the most a year. IT does sound reasonable to give enough time. It’s not considered healthy to lose weight that fast.

I, too, noticed that you and I are the about the same weight. lol =) I would also love to be considered skinny. I would kill to be 100 but that’s VERY unreasonable of me but anything is possible right? I wish you the best of luck!! I am here for you for anything, Were in this together ok? =)

i wouldn’t mind being 100 either, but that would be the lowest. i’m 5’2.5”...so right in between 5’2” & 3.” the lowest i can remember being was 115 (after a break-up). but yeah, i think 105 would be perfect, probably because it’s between 100 & 110. :) i think it just depends on how i look when i get there.

i think giving myself time to lose it is best for me personally, because i used to yo-yo a lot and now it’s getting to be less of that because i’m actually giving myself time and not a few weeks. ;) oh yeah, did you make do the cabbage soup diet? i did the sacred heart just 2 weeks ago and went to 117 (started at 120) in 3 days and finished it out but couldn’t weigh myself. the only thing i have to say about it was the soup was good but the next week, i ate out like crazy. somehow everything ended up evening out and now i’m back at the (practically) same weight. :p reminded me not to diet but i was determined to break the plateau. i think as long as you don’t tell yourself you’re on a diet you’ll be fine. ;) good luck & yes, totally here for each other!

What is the sacred heart? How is the plan?

I did make the cabbage soup and I have been eating it since yesterday. I’m not really following it as strictly as I should but I noticed it prevents binges, =) I kinda messed up today though on eating 2 pieces of bakery bread, but I am ok. I had a herbal tea afterwards. I have been eating lots of fruits. Today I ate vegetables along with the soup of course.

I feel kind of sick, like hotter (body temp.) than usual, and weak. Overall, I am OK though. =) I just hope this goes somewhere. Do you have any good tips on preventing night binges or night eating?

the sacred heart i think is a lot like cabbage soup (but i didn’t research that one)...the ingredients were:

-cabbage
-1 pack of lipton’s noodle soup
-tomatoes
-green pepper
-carrots
-celery
-chicken broth/seasoning

i think that was it. it lasts for 1 wk and goes like this:

day 1. soup, any fruit, no bananas
day 2. soup, veggies
day 3. soup, fruit, & veggies
day 4. soup, bananas, & skim milk
day 5. soup, beef & tomatoes
day 6. soup, beef & any veggies
day 7. soup, brown rice, veggies, juice

and supposedly you can lose 10-17 lbs, but that definitely didn’t work for me. and honestly, after that week (because i really tried to not cheat) i ate worse than i had this entire time i’ve been trying to lose weight. :( but that’s just me. you definitely feel healthier while doing it.

ok, with night binging/eating, i realized i HAVE to eat properly throughout the day…if i want something i eat it, just smaller portions. i really try to not deprive myself because i know the second i tell myself ‘no’ it backfires. i eat until i’m almost full and kind of just eat like that throughout the day. if i want something at night, i see how hungry i am. to be honest, something that’s helped me a lot is drinking a hot cup of tea at night. it fills me up and is satisfying for some reason. plus, in the morning i feel a lot lighter and better about not eating late the night before. also, drink a lot of water! ;) and then see if you are still hungry. i definitely recommend eating what you crave though, for me, cereal, popcorn, fruit…all of those work for me.
