That’s opinion, not fact Gemma. :)And in mine (and many many others) opinions you’re not selfish and you’re not wrapped up in your own world. You may sometimes act in a way, which on reflection seems to be inconsiderate, but the fact that you are sorry for this shows how you do actually care.

It’s impossible to constantly please and be cosiderate to everyone, and at some stage people may be treated inconsiderately, but it’s not easy, and you’re only human if this happens.

Interesting book: How To Stubbornly Refuse to Make Yourself Miserable About Anything, Yes, Anything! Not sure if it’s relevant to your situation, but it might be. I found it useful when I read it a few years back.
